1. Who is responsible

Triple A Car Rental, St. Kitts, is responsible for personal information collected through this booking service. Privacy questions and correction requests may be made by phone at (869) 663-9461 or through WhatsApp to a Triple A Agent.

2. Information collected

Triple A collects information needed to process a booking request, including the Customer's name, contact information, requested dates and times, preferred vehicle, handover and return details, age, driver's licence issuing country and expiry date, additional-driver information where provided, arrival details where provided, booking notes, communications and booking status information.

Limited technical and security information may also be collected to operate and protect the website.

3. Why it is used

Customer information is used to check vehicle availability, review and confirm booking requests, assign vehicles, arrange handover and return, communicate with the Customer, verify driving eligibility, comply with legal and insurance requirements, resolve disputes and maintain necessary business records.

4. Required and optional information

Fields marked as required are necessary to review and process a booking request. If required information is not provided, Triple A may be unable to process the request.

Flight or ferry details, hotel or other handover information and booking notes are optional unless needed for the Customer's requested handover arrangements.

5. Who receives it

Customer information may be accessed by Triple A Agents and service providers supporting the website, booking system, security and communications.

Where necessary and lawful, relevant information may also be shared with insurers, professional advisers or public authorities.

Customer information is not sold or used for unrelated marketing without the Customer's consent.

6. Driver documents

Every Customer must provide the required driver's licence information when submitting a booking request and present a valid driver's licence for verification before vehicle handover.

A Customer who is not from St. Kitts and Nevis or an OECS country must also present a valid St. Kitts and Nevis Temporary Driver's Licence before handover.

Customers should not place passport images, driver's licence images or payment-card information in the website's notes field or ordinary email.

7. Retention

Customer information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to process and administer the booking or rental and to satisfy applicable legal, accounting, insurance and dispute-resolution requirements.

Information that is no longer required will be securely deleted, destroyed or anonymized, where appropriate.

8. Security and service providers

Triple A uses reasonable safeguards to protect Customer information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure. Service providers supporting the booking service are expected to maintain appropriate safeguards.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Access and correction

A Customer may request access to or correction of their personal information, subject to applicable law and reasonable identity verification.

Customers should provide their booking reference where available and should not send identity documents unless a secure method has been provided by a Triple A Agent.

10. International processing

Some website, hosting or communication providers may process information outside St. Kitts and Nevis. Where this occurs, Triple A will take reasonable steps to ensure that Customer information is appropriately protected.

11. Changes

Triple A may update this Privacy Notice to reflect changes to its booking service, business operations or legal requirements. The current version and effective date will be displayed on the website.
